Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between students' learning styles, learning motivation, and academic achievement at State Elementary School 153 Pekanbaru. Employing a qualitative approach with case study methodology, this research deeply explores students' learning experiences and teachers' perceptions regarding the role of learning styles and motivation in supporting academic performance. Data were collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with students and classroom teachers, and documentation of students' academic scores. The findings indicate that varied learning styles (visual, auditory, and kinesthetic) significantly influence how students comprehend learning materials. Furthermore, learning motivation - both intrinsic (such as curiosity and personal satisfaction) and extrinsic (including encouragement from parents and teachers) - plays a crucial role in enhancing student engagement in the learning process. The research reveals that students tend to achieve better academic performance when teaching methods are adapted to their individual learning styles and when their motivation is strengthened through supportive and encouraging approaches. This study emphasizes the importance of implementing individualized and contextual learning approaches to improve the quality of elementary education
