Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using technology-based interactive learning media in enhancing religious understanding at Madrasah Aliyah Pondok Pesantren Tarbiyah Tembilahan (MA PPTH Tembilahan). The method used is a qualitative approach with a case study research design. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of teachers, students, and the learning media tools used. The results show that interactive media, such as interactive presentation applications, educational videos, and digital learning platforms, were able to increase student participation, strengthen material absorption, and help teachers deliver abstract religious concepts in a more concrete and engaging manner. Additionally, technology-based media proved effective in fostering students' interest in religious subjects, which have often been perceived as monotonous. Supporting factors for the successful implementation of this media include the availability of devices, teacher training, and a conducive learning environment. This study concludes that the use of technology-based interactive learning media is an effective strategy for improving students' religious understanding at MA PPTH Tembilahan. It is also recommended for broader implementation in the religious education curriculum of similar institutions.
