Publication Ethic

DIDACTA: Journal Of Educational Studies is fully committed to maintaining the highest standards of ethics and integrity in the publication process. This publication ethics statement outlines the responsibilities and ethical expectations for all parties involved in the journal—authors, editors, peer reviewers, and the publisher—in accordance with the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

1. Responsibilities of Authors

  • Authors must submit original, unpublished manuscripts that are not under consideration elsewhere.

  • All sources of information used in the manuscript must be properly cited, and plagiarism in any form is strictly prohibited.

  • All individuals who have made a significant contribution to the manuscript should be listed as co-authors. Others should not be credited as authors.

  • Authors are expected to disclose any conflicts of interest, and to correct or retract the article if significant errors are discovered after publication.

  • For research involving human or animal subjects, authors must provide appropriate ethical approval and describe compliance with relevant ethical standards.

2. Responsibilities of Editors

  • Editors are responsible for making publication decisions based on the manuscript’s academic merit, originality, clarity, and relevance to the journal’s scope.

  • Editors must ensure a fair and unbiased peer-review process, maintaining confidentiality of submitted manuscripts at all times.

  • Editors must avoid conflicts of interest, and should recuse themselves from handling manuscripts in which they have a personal or professional stake.

  • Editors shall take all reasonable steps to identify and prevent unethical publishing practices, including plagiarism and duplicate submissions.

3. Responsibilities of Reviewers

  • Reviewers must evaluate manuscripts in an objective, constructive, and timely manner, providing clear and substantiated feedback to assist the editorial decision-making process.

  • Reviewers must treat the manuscript as a confidential document, not to be shared or used for personal gain.

  • Reviewers must declare any conflicts of interest and decline to review when appropriate.

4. Plagiarism and Originality

All manuscripts submitted to DIDACTA will be checked for plagiarism using professional detection tools. Manuscripts that exhibit plagiarism, data fabrication, or unethical research practices will be rejected or retracted if already published.

5. Article Retraction and Corrections

In cases of serious errors or misconduct (e.g., plagiarism, data manipulation), DIDACTA reserves the right to retract or issue corrections to the published article following COPE Retraction Guidelines.

6. Open Access and Licensing
