Peer Review Process

DIDACTA Journal employs a double-blind peer review system to ensure the integrity and academic quality of each submission. The review process follows these steps:

  1. Initial Editorial Screening
The editorial team evaluates the manuscript for scope alignment, formatting, and compliance with submission guidelines. Manuscripts failing this stage are returned without peer review.

  2. Plagiarism Check
Submissions are screened for plagiarism using detection software (e.g., Turnitin) to verify originality.

  3. Assignment to Reviewers
Manuscripts passing the initial screening are assigned to at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise. Both authors and reviewers remain anonymous (double-blind process).

  4. Review Evaluation
Reviewers assess the manuscript for originality, significance, methodology, clarity, and references. Each reviewer issues a recommendation:

    • Accept without revision

    • Accept with minor revision

    • Major revision required

    • Reject

  5. Editorial Decision
The editor considers all reviewer comments to make a final decision. Manuscripts requiring revision will be returned to authors for improvement.

  6. Revision and Finalization
Accepted articles undergo copyediting and layout formatting before publication.

The typical review process takes 4 to 8 weeks, depending on reviewer availability and manuscript quality.
